Beautified - Three enslaved girls are immersed in beautiful surroundings, hidden beneath this beauty lies a dystopian society pushing the girls to perfection.

'Beautified' was Emily's third short film as writer and director.  Emily also acted in the film opposite Tahirah Sharif (The Haunting of Bly Manor) and Linda Louise Duan (Doctor Strange).

Beautified is a female-centric, thought provoking short film, set in a dystopian society. It not only highlights human trafficking, but also shows the destructive path put on society to attain what is considered the perfect body.

Beautified was shot over two days and has picked up 26 awards on the festival circuit, including Best Director, Best Producer, Best Short Film and Best Music.
